U12 Indoor

1. The U12 program is now within the CMSA (Calgary Minor Soccer Association). Evaluations will be held to determine what divisions the teams and players will be placed in. Times and locations will be announced.
2. All players require a CMSA Players Card. Please check with register to get your number then book an appointment at CMSA Office at Calgary Soccer Centre.
3. Check "about page" for age eligibility.
4. Teams are all boys or all girls.
5. Play is 7 a side, including the goalkeeper.
6. Team size will be 13 to 15 players depending on number of registrants.
7. Teams will GENERALLY practice once a week and play once a week. However, this is dependent on the schedule given to us. Practice days are not yet available.
8. Skill sessions and goalkeeper training are also once a week and the cost of these is included in registration fees which are among the lowest in The City. These are an important part of player development.
9. Practices are an hour and a half to two hours long. Along with the skill sessions these are held within our area at Gyms within our Area.
10. Games are 50 minutes long with 2 – 25 minute halves.
11. Jerseys are provided for games but must be returned at the end of the season. Black shorts, black socks and shin guards must be worn and are the responsibility of the player. Indoor soccer shoes are required.
12. There MAY be tournaments offered throughout the season.
13. Calglen offers an indoor U12 program at all levels of play to maintain continuity from season to season.
14. Coaches Training, First Aid and Certification courses are offered to all our coaches.
