U6 and U8 are mixed and U10 to U16 are separate boys and
girls teams. Evaluations will be held for U10, U12, U14
& U16 in September 2010 if more than one team is registered
in one particular age group. Cal-Glen will cap all U10 to
U16 Teams at 15 players per team. Team selection will be
based on those that registered first. If there is a disbute,
the decision will be decide by the Cal-Glen board. They
will take into consideration the number of seasons the player
has played for Cal-Glen in the past.
The
Indoor CMSA Soccer program commences late Septemberand runs to
the beginning of March depending on the Age Group. Evaluations
and player placement occur in the latter half of September.
Games commence Mid-October and are scheduled
by CMSA and Calglen Soccer has no control over the time,

CalGlen
soccer is about fun, first and foremost; competition comes
second.
-
All
children will be placed on a team if the team cap has
not been reached.
-
Teams
will be selected based on players' ability and competitiveness,
and then placed in divisions of similar competitive levels.
-
Players
may request to play with a friend, at the level of the
less competitive player. This is limited to one friend. Note if there is more than one team in the same age group and the teams need to be balance then we might not allow a group of friends stay together. This will be decided by the coaches and board.
-
Players
are invited to attend two evaluations, but will not be
penalized for missing one due to a conflict.
-
Please
arrive 10-15 minutes before the posted time to allow for
registration.
-
Soccer
cleats are not permitted at the indoor sessions, runners
or indoor soccer shoes are recommended.
-
Evaluations
are not an examination as much as an opportunity to enjoy
some soccer!
-
Players
should bring indoor shoes, shin pads and a water bottle
to every game, evaluation and practice.
